I made this cute little rag quilt for my new boss' baby boy. It came out so very cute and SOFT! I used Lily and Will from Bunny Hill and then Minkee on the back. I'm definitely making more.
I had a busy week. Free Agency started on Tuesday night and so I worked until 1:00 a.m. and then until 10:00 p.m. on Wednesday signing our two newest players, Chad Henne from Miami and Laurent Robinson from Dallas. I found out that Laurent actually played at Illinois State in my home town of Normal! Super small world.
Ok, more later,
Tracey

Yay! They're Alive
Anyone that knows me knows I don't have a green thumb. My mother does and my younger brother does. I, apparently, did not receive this gene. That's why I'm so happy my amaryllis bulbs not only survived, they're actually blooming. Go me!!

Baby Quilt
I finished the baby quilt for my friend, Kerri. Good thing too, her baby is due ANY day. Whew, nothing like last minute. Anyway, I don't think Kerri reads my blog so I think I'm pretty safe posting these pics.
I almost decided against the wavy edges. My math is terrible and I had an awful time trying to figure out how many scallops/waves I needed. Luckily, I found the Scallops, Vines and Waves Template by Quilt in a day. It made it so much easier. I love the way it turned out. The "C" is for their last name. She still hadn't decided on a name when I was doing the monogram. Kerri is coming to the office on Tuesday so I'll give it to her then. I hope she likes it. The quilting was done by my friend Joanie Clinton in North Carolina. Thank you Joanie!!
I also finished my little table topper. I'm taking it to work to hang at my desk. It brightens my day.
Ok, back to more sewing!
Talk to you soon,
Tracey
